Journeys of Self-Discovery
Welcome home, Pilgrim.
If you are here, something deep within you is calling—toward adventure, transformation, and a return to yourself. This retreat is not just about walking the Camino; it is about walking it with intention, purpose and curiosity.
This experience blends the wisdom of pilgrimage with a profound and integrated yogic approach. Through mindful walking, powerful practices, and deep purpose, you will develop a clearer awareness of your mind, body, and inner compass. In an intimate group setting, we move with presence, reflect with depth, and create space for personal transformation. Along the way, you will awaken a new aliveness within—one rooted in trust, connection, and the essence of life itself.
Each step is an invitation: to slow down, to listen, and to rediscover the sacredness of your path.
About Sai
Having walked many paths across the world—and guided thousands of pilgrims—I have made the Camino my home for over a decade. This retreat was also born from my love for the inner Camino and my understanding that pilgrimage is a way of life.

3 PHASES OF OUR JOURNEY
This is not just walking. It's a 3-phase transformational process designed to ground, expand and integrate deep inner growth.
-
Whilst our journey commences when the Camino first calls us, here we begin our experience together, establishing our intention and creating our container. The first full day and two nights are dedicated to landing, coming together and setting our direction.
We will meet in a beautiful space, supported by incredible nature and tune into the wise that have lived here for centuries and those that have taken the path before us. A moment to fully arrive, calm our nervous system, connect, establish our intentions, align with what this journey is inviting us to explore, deepen our presence and open this incredible dance!
Where: Ponferrada & surrounding mountains - Casa Rural
When: Sunday & Monday (Days 1-2). We meet 4pm Sunday in Ponferrada
Integrated practices: Opening circle and ceremony, personal introspective time, introduction to meditation, introduction to Vedic Tantric tradition, practices and satsang, celebration!
-
Our second alchemical step - the path is calling us and we step out (and step in!) on the magical Camino de Santiago.
The invitation is for openness and receptivity. The path is an incredible teacher and the practice of walking will be integrated with the technology of Yoga - we will understand what Yoga really means as an approach to life and as a science that brilliantly addresses all aspects of the being.
We walk some of the most spectacular parts of the Camino, stay in very special places with amazing people. We embrace the challenges, which are part of every pilgrimage and transformation, and we remember that it’s not all about arriving to the destination but how we respond to and live the moment.
Where: The spectacular trail from Ponferrada to Terra De Luz (Montan)
When: Tuesday - Friday (Days 3-6)
Number of Km: 65-80Km (15-20km p/day)
Integrated practices: Walking meditation, breathwork, kriyas, integrated asana and embodied movement, silence meditation, self inquiry, deep presence, sharing circles and storytelling.
We will uplift our state with wisdom talks about the Dharma purpose triangle, grace, gaining unity, the state of synchronicity, and recognizing that you are the path and the path is you.
-
The sweetest part comes at the end, as we return to stillness at Terra de Luz ("Land of Light"), a place that words cannot describe. When you enter the space of Terra De Luz, your awareness rediscovers how life can be beyond fear and illusions. This open home is a co-created space, inspired by many - a container of healing and deep insights for hundreds.
The focus here is to hold space for you, giving you time and support to integrate, to consolidate, to reflect, and then continue walking your life with clarity and a solid new presence.
When: Saturday & Sunday (Days 7-8) - if you want to stay more we can talk about it… it normally happens!

Sai
‘Land of Light’ on the Camino!
This life journey began on a farm in Australia with big horizons, wandering curiously and sleeping under the stars. I also lived a previous city life - schooling, university and a professional career. A solo 2500km kayaking journey lead me to living and working with First Nation communities in the desert of Australia for some years and subsequently to undertake an epic motorbike journey for 2 years, 80,000kms, 40+ countries and explore endless lessons in trust, openness and letting go.. Unimaginable experiences also led me to India and unexpectedly on a path of inner exploration and to ancient teachings of yoga and meditation, where I have returned to over 10 times for prolonged periods, intensive studies and to walk pilgrimages.
I walked my first Camino de Santiago 13 years ago with my mother where I was filled with a vision to co-create a healing space along the way - a place for pilgrims to stop, rest, reflect, connect, heal and journey deeper into their own experience of life. This vision became a physical reality in 2015 with ‘Terra de Luz’ and since then it has been the loving, inspiring and simple co-creation of hundreds of people. In this space, my home, I have received and served thousands of pilgrims whilst also offering daily classes of yoga, meditation, mindfulness and discussions on fully value living.
“In all of my experiences around the world I’ve never come across such a transformative journey like the Camino de Santiago. It’s truly an extraordinary pilgrimage.”

Requirement: An open heart and an open attitude (or at least an intention to move in that direction!)
The most important requirement is that you’re willing to explore, discover and expose yourself to the unknown - and maybe at times that’ s a bit uncomfortable (its ok, discomfort can be a gateway to growth!).
Even though we know this path like the back of our hand the journey is always new… it’s an adventure we’re taking!
No need to worry, we will be there for you :)
-
Well, first and foremost, they are all hand picked with the intention to create very special, intimate experiences. Many of the hosts in the albergues where we will stay we know personally - some of them have been our good friends for almost 10 years. It’s like going back home!
The types of accomodation settings will vary a little but the experiences that we most treasure are those with a communal meal and spaces to connect and share our journey.
If you choose a private room you maybe staying in another location in the same village. But it is always our intention to meet at the end of the day, and share circle and a meal together.
-
We will share a specific packing list and have a call to discuss this :)
-
No, but it’s important you are open to walk 5/6 hr.
Each day’s walk will be on average 18km per day.
If you are unable to walk the day’s distance you are almost always able to grab a taxi… and that is ok!

Himalayan Yoga traces its origins to the revered sages of the Himalayan mountains. The practice is vast. On the mat, it encompasses a set of energizing, purifying, and meditative techniques that aim to move you towards a sense of unity and integrated being. Through this practice, you can gain more vitality, a higher level of vital force, mental clarity, a new perspective, and a feeling of being luminous, open, receptive, and in flow. This practice involves a combination of breath control, physical postures, and specific patterns of energy movement, working on a subtle level to cleanse and rejuvenate the cellular memory of the practitioner by releasing accumulated negative energies and patterns while recalibrating the practitioner's frequency.
-
It’s a medition based on you personai bija mantra that you will receive during a 1:1 initialization. It comes from the ancient Vedic tradition of India and it is a profound practice deeply rooted in the spiritual heritage of the Himalayas. At its core, this form of meditation utilizes Bija mantra—sacred seeds of sound —to facilitate a deep connection with the inner source. As practitioners delve into the rhythmic repetition of these mantras, they are guided into a state of profound silence, a space where the mind's incessant chatter ceases, and a serene stillness emerges. This silence is not merely the absence of sound but represents a deeper, more profound state of awareness and connection.
The practice is a combination of breath, mudras and a sacred technique to align the brain and the two currents while activate the spine to then enter to the personal bija, received personally during the initiation. We close with an ancient mantra from the Rig Veda to attune to the qualities of the Sun and the new opportunity.

Jyotish, or Vedic astrology, holds a special place in the vastness of Vedic Widom. Originally, its purpose within the Vedas was to serve as a cosmic guide, helping individuals understand their karmic path and the intricate dance of celestial bodies that’s why was also referred to as the ‘Eye of Veda’ .
Jyotish operates on the principle that the positions and movements of planets and constellations at the time of one's birth can provide profound insights into their nature, tendencies, and life's purpose. Each individual's birth chart becomes a unique expression of the self, a cosmic fingerprint that reveals strengths, challenges, and potential paths. The interplay between planets and constellations casts specific energies or influences on the individual, shaping their experiences, decisions, and overall life journey. By consulting with a Jyotish expert, one can gain clarity on life's challenges and opportunities, making informed choices that align with their highest potential.
Receiving a reading when we embark in a journey as the Camino sounds like a great blessing and deserving power.
